Untitled-01There I was Speeding and weaving to Santa Barbara Like the sea foam out my window Surging in the open water for the shore I too was desperately hoping not to recede into fathomless homogeneity.Untitled-01
Then I realized, I will spend the rest of my life Learning how to experience satisfaction.

The YawningThe Yawning I saw the sky roaring bright, Mouth split open wide, Bleeding out colors like some seventeen year old Contending with the universe for the first time, Ready to spit out the stars And constellations of shattered smiles. The Yawning

Poetry As PoetryI have never read a poem about poetry Or at least it was never anyone's favoritePoetry As Poetry
There is nothing exciting, nothing relatable About poetry about poetry But it's our fault:
Unmitigated introspection (Hmmmmmmmmmmmm, check) Perhaps embellishing, (I-don't-know,-maybe,-I-think THIS-IS-incognito complex) Ligation Dilations (Midsummer Syntax Shag) Obligated ablating (The Final Draft of a piece of art is Nothing) And cyphered rashes of validation (Ode to a Very Hairy Palm)
Let's at least pretend to be Responsible bastards -

I don't like to be 'done' or thought of being 'done'. Makes me feel like an egg about to be cooked.

You made a wise move. Don't beat yourself up over it.
but keep up the good work. i admire people who go all in and put their stakes on art. respect +30 points.

yes. keep writing. artists don't bankroll emotion for money. they do it for art's sake.

Ha. Thanks, that means a lot. For a long time I've been feeling like, "Do I have a marketable audience? Meh. I'll just keep writing."
don't bother reading that poetry. i'm working on some new stuff... (this summer was a growing period for my poetry) so hopefully i should have something to substantiate my claim of improving sometime soon
nice to meet you too
